Presenting...the Loner Poem!!!!
Every day,I stand at the wall.
The wall I have found refuge with.
Its bricky red delightfullness,
Somehow shields me from them.
I am shunned like a leper.
Nobody even spares a glance at me.
They do not give me a chance to speak.
They simply wave my words away.
"Hey,hey,can I play?" I say,
"No no no," They always say.
I get miserable everyday.
Like I said,they do not give me a chance.
What I do at the wall?
My refuge,the one and only there.
Slapping hands,tracing patterns,
Wasting time away,just like my ragged clothes.

The Loner......
This boy is definitely anti-social and arrogant as he does not seem to make an effort to try to ask the other children in the playground if he could join them.Instead, he simply leans against the playground wall and does "boredom-beating tricks" such as "smacking his hands against the bricks" and "tracing patterns with his feet".This proves that this boy deems himself "more superior" as he thinks that playing with the other children is simply a waste of time and this is supported by "And he never plays".
Maybe the reason behind this "arrogance" can be that he has suffered a blow in his private life and has since stopped socializing and mixing with others due to the fear known as the famous history cliche of "history repeating itself".Since he has always smacked his hands many,many times at the playground,undoubtedly he has become immune to the pain or possibly has no more nerves in both hands.When he leans against the wall,he faces the children instead of the wall as if he is wary of them,always on the defensive,most likely he has been hurt by them before.
Loneliness has always been both his shell AND shield,quoted "his loneliness is his shell and shield.".My guess is that he has been invited to play with the children before but has declined maybe due to his shyness or maybe a slip of the tongue.Neither the children nor the loner have the initiative to ask each other to play,neither shall yield as in they will not be friends and the loner will be ever more lonely.(pun?)
The scrawls,"watch this space" at the place where the loner used to "dwell" at the playground wall were most probably written by the loner himself.This implies that he has temporarily or has moved away from that certain playground and so,might return someday with a suitcase of gold! No no no ignore the last part.One day he might return and continue leaning on the wall till the ends of the earth.
The children....
It is evident that the children are enjoying themselves in their own world unlike the loner,leaning at the wall,having none to converse with.The playground is literally "lit up" with their "shouting,laughter,song".The children there are aware of the presence of the loner as they "pass him by and never speak" and "low talking".This proves that they are gossiping about the loner,which is a bad thing to do.Most likely,they are curious about the loner,which is quite natural as they are children,and want to know more about him but are either shy or scared to ask him to play.

Qn.1 Do I sympathize with the Joker?
Well, no actually.This Joker is a "violent sociopath" who "committed crimes both whimsical and inhumanly brutal" as taken from Wikipedia.This proves that the Joker kills many brutally without empathy and continuously harbours sadistic thoughts of murder.Hence,he should be punished in the most horrible and unimaginable way possible for his crimes by the law or so as to speak,Batman.
Secondly,he has no thoughts of turning over a new leaf because even though Batman has brought him back to Arkham Asylum to get him rehabilitated,the Joker still escapes from the mad house everytime with the help of his lover.Evidence of the previous sentence is a quote from wikipedia again," allows him to escape Arkham several times before she is eventually exposed.".
In conclusion, Joker does NOT get sympathy from me as he is simply a psychotic,insane sociopath who derives pleasure from killing people.
Qn.2 What I have learnt from this lesson is to not judge people by their appearances
They my seem good-hearted on the inside but when they are close to you,you might just find your throat slit and that's the last thing you'll ever remember.
